Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) Where an offence
is committed by a person by reason of the contravention of a provision of this
Act under which the person is required or directed to do any act or thing, or
to refrain from doing any act or thing, that offence is taken to continue so
long as the act or thing so required or directed remains undone, or continues
to be done, as the case may be.
(2) Where an offence
is taken to continue, the person who committed the offence, whether by act or
omission, commits an additional offence on each day during which the offence
is taken to continue after notice of the offence has been given by or on
behalf of an authorised person to the offender, and is liable to a fine not
exceeding $500 for every day on which the offence is so continued.
