Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) Subject to
subsection (2), this Division applies to a reportable offender who is required
to continue to comply with the reporting obligations imposed by this Part for
the remainder of his or her life.
(2) This Division does
not apply to a reportable offender who is required to comply with those
obligations for the remainder of his or her life as a result of being found
guilty of —
(a) an
offence under The Criminal Code section 279(1); or
(b) an
offence under a law of a foreign jurisdiction the elements of which, if they
had occurred in Western Australia, would have constituted an offence of the
kind referred to in paragraph (a); or
(c) an
offence that, at the time it was committed, was an offence of the kind
referred to in this subsection.
