DAMPIER TO BUNBURY PIPELINE ACT 1997 - SECT 21

21 .         State indemnities and guarantees

        (1)         The Treasurer may, in the name and on behalf of the State of Western Australia, give any indemnity or guarantee in respect of a matter arising under or related to —

            (a)         an agreement mentioned in section 13; or

            (b)         an agreement affected by an assignment in accordance with an agreement mentioned in section 13.

        (2)         The payment of any money under an indemnity or guarantee given under subsection (1) is to be made by the Treasurer and charged to the Consolidated Account, which this section appropriates to the necessary extent.
