(1) The assignment of
an asset by the corporation is not prevented by any written law that, before
the assignment, states that the asset vests in the corporation.
(2) An asset that has
been assigned by section 16 belongs to the assignee, or any person to whom it
may be subsequently assigned by or through the assignee, regardless of whether
it is of the nature of a fixture, and is capable of being removed from the
land and, whether or not it has been removed, is capable of being assigned
separately from the land.
