Without limiting any
action the person acting judicially may take to limit the possible harm, or
extent of the harm, likely to be caused by identifying evidence, the person
acting judicially may —
(a)
order that all or part of the evidence be heard in camera; and
(b) make
such orders relating to the suppression of publication of all or part of the
evidence given before the person acting judicially as, in the opinion of the
person acting judicially, are necessary to protect the informant’s
safety and welfare and are in the interests of justice.
