Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) No candidate, and
no person holding any official position in connection with any political
organisation or election committee, shall be appointed an officer under this
Act.
(2) If any such
officer knowingly becomes a candidate, or is elected, appointed, or otherwise
becomes an official of any political organisation or election committee, the
officer is taken to have vacated the office held by the officer under this
Act, and another person must be appointed in their place.
