(1) A last resort
supply plan for a designated area is one that deals with the supply of
electricity to customers in the area by the holder of a retail licence (the
supplier of last resort ) if the plan comes into operation under section 70.
(2) A last resort
supply plan must set out the arrangements, and make the provisions, that are
necessary for the supply of electricity as mentioned in subsection (1).
(3) A last resort
supply plan must —
(a) make
provision for any matter or circumstance that is prescribed; and
(b)
otherwise comply with the regulations.
(4) A last resort
supply plan is of no effect to the extent that it is inconsistent with any
enactment.
