expressly provided any notice or demand required by or under this Act to be
given or served on the owner or occupier of any land or other premises may (in
addition to or instead of any other mode of service) be served by post by
prepaid letter addressed to the owner or occupier by that description, and in
proving the service it shall be sufficient to prove that the notice or demand
was properly addressed to the land or premises in question and was put into
the post.
