Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) In addition to the
jurisdiction that a court has under this Act in relation to children, a court
also has jurisdiction to make orders relating to the welfare of children.
(2) In deciding
whether to make an order under subsection (1) in relation to a child, a court
must regard the best interests of the child as the paramount consideration.
