(1) In respect of the
federal jurisdiction of courts of summary jurisdiction referred to in
section 38, the officers of such courts have such functions as are authorised
by the Family Law Act or as are provided for under this Act.
(2) In respect of the
non-federal jurisdictions of the Magistrates Court referred to in
section 39(a), a registrar of that Court has the Principal Registrar’s
functions under this Act, other than —
(a) any
judicial function; or
[(b) deleted]
(c) the
function of conducting a conciliation or other conference.
