Where it appears to
the State Administrative Tribunal that —
(a) a
person may be a person in respect of whom a declaration should be made under
subsection (1) of section 64; and
(b) it
is necessary to make immediate provision for the protection of the
person’s estate,
then, pending the
determination of the question whether the person is, in fact, a person in
respect of whom a declaration should be made under that subsection, the
Tribunal may exercise such of the powers conferred on it by this Act as may be
necessary for enabling that provision to be made.
