(1) There is hereby
created an office of Public Advocate, the holder of which shall be appointed
by the Governor.
(2) Subject to this
Part, the Public Advocate holds office for such period, not exceeding 5 years,
as is specified in the instrument of his appointment, and is eligible for
re-appointment.
(3) The Public
Advocate is entitled to such terms and conditions of service, including
remuneration and travelling and other allowances, as the Minister determines
from time to time on the recommendation of the Public Sector Commissioner.
