Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) An agency special
purpose account called the Gaming Community Trust Account is established under
section 16 of the Financial Management Act 2006 to which moneys that are
unclaimed winnings —
(a) to
which section 109B(3) or (4) applies; or
(b) to
which section 15(3) or (4) of the Casino Control Act 1984 applies,
are to be credited.
(2) The Trust Account
shall be applied to purposes recommended by the Trust and approved by the
Minister for the benefit of the community.
(3) The operation of
the Trust Account shall be regarded as —
(a) a
service under the control of the Department for the purposes of section 52 of
the Financial Management Act 2006 ; and
(b) part
of the operations of the Department for the purposes of Part 5 of that Act.
