(1) Where the
Commission considers that any power of the Commission under this or any other
written law should be exercised on its behalf by a person or body other than
the Commission, the Commission may, by resolution, delegate all or any of its
powers or duties, except this power of delegation, to —
(a) a
member or a committee of the Commission; or
(b) the
Chief Casino Officer, or a government inspector; or
(c) in
accordance with section 59(1)(d) of the Interpretation Act 1984 , as may be
specified in the instrument of delegation,
either generally or as
otherwise provided by the instrument of delegation.
(2) A power delegated
by the Commission shall be exercised by the delegate in accordance with the
instrument of delegation, and when so exercised shall be deemed to have been
exercised by the Commission and shall be presumed, unless the contrary is
established, to have been exercised by a person duly authorised by a
delegation under this section.
(3) A document
purporting to be signed by a person as a delegate of the Commission shall be
deemed, unless the contrary is established, to have been signed by such a
delegate and to have been so signed pursuant to the exercise of a power duly
delegated to the person by the Commission.

government inspector and Chief Casino Officer
have the meanings given in the Casino Control Act 1984 .
