GAMING AND WAGERING COMMISSION ACT 1987 - SECT 27A

27A .         Authorised officers to be public officers for Criminal Investigation Act 2006

                For the purposes of the Criminal Investigation Act 2006 section 9 —

            (a)         the office of authorised officer is prescribed for the purposes of this Act, the Betting Control Act 1954 and the Casino Control Act 1984 ; and

            (b)         the powers in Parts 2, 6, 7 and 12 of that Act are prescribed in respect of the office for the purposes of this Act, the Betting Control Act 1954 and the Casino Control Act 1984 .
