(1) The fact that a
GTE has a function given to it by its Establishing Act or any other written
law does not impose a duty on it to do any particular thing.
(2) A GTE has a
discretion as to how and when it performs its functions, subject to —
(a) this
Act; and
(b) the
GTE’s Establishing Act; and
(c) any
direction given to the GTE under this Act or the GTE’s Establishing Act.
