Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) A GTE must not
form or acquire a subsidiary unless the Portfolio Minister has approved the
formation or acquisition.
(2) The Portfolio
Minister must not approve the formation or acquisition of the subsidiary
without the approval of the Treasurer.
(3) For the purposes
of this section a GTE acquires a subsidiary if it enters into a transaction
that will result in another entity becoming a subsidiary of the GTE.
