A GTE must —
(a) keep
the Portfolio Minister reasonably informed of the operations, financial
performance and financial position of the GTE and its subsidiaries, including
the assets and liabilities, profits and losses, and prospects of the GTE and
its subsidiaries; and
(b) give
the Portfolio Minister reports and information that the Minister requires for
the making of informed assessments of matters mentioned in paragraph (a); and
(c)
promptly inform the Portfolio Minster if matters arise that in the opinion of
the GTE’s board may prevent or significantly affect —
(i)
the attainment of performance objectives or key
performance indicators contained in the GTE’s annual performance
statement; or
(ii)
the meeting of the expectations, or the pursuit of the
strategic direction, objectives or major initiatives, contained in the
GTE’s statement of expectations.
