(1) If a notice given
under section 50 includes any action that the Director considers ought to be
taken by the provider to remedy the matter and the provider does not report in
accordance with section 51, the Director must give the Minister a copy of the
notice and a written report about the refusal or failure by the provider to so
report.
(2) If a notice given
under section 50 includes any action that the Director considers ought to be
taken by the provider to remedy the matter and the provider does not take the
action within such time as in the Director’s opinion is reasonable, the
Director must give the Minister a copy of the notice and a written report
about the refusal or failure by the provider to take the action.
(3) After receiving
the notice and a report under subsection (1) or (2) the Minister may lay both
before each House of Parliament.
(4) The Director is
not to include the complainant’s name in the material given to the
Minister under subsection (1) or (2) unless authorised to do so by the
complainant.
