(1) Any local
government may, of its own motion, and shall, when required by order of the
Chief Health Officer by notice in writing, declare that any house, or any
specified part thereof, is unfit for human habitation.
(2) The notice may
direct that such house or part thereof shall not, after a time to be specified
in the notice, be inhabited or occupied by any person.
(3) The notice shall
be affixed to some conspicuous part of the house, and a copy of such notice
shall be served upon the owner or occupier thereof.
