(1) All expenses
incurred by the Chief Health Officer on behalf of a local government, or for
which a local government is liable under this Act, shall be recoverable as a
debt due to the Crown.
(2) Without affecting
any other mode of recovering such expenses they may, on the warrant of the
Minister, be deducted and retained out of any moneys at any time payable out
of the public funds to the local government in respect of subsidy or
otherwise.
