(1) In this Act a
supervision order in relation to an offender is an order that the offender,
when not in custody, is to be subject to stated conditions that the court
considers appropriate, in accordance with section 30.
(2) A supervision
order has effect in accordance with its terms —
(a) from
a date stated in the order; and
(b) for
a period stated in the order.
(3) The date from
which a supervision order has effect must not be earlier than 21 days after
the date the order is made unless the court is satisfied that the
implementation of the order from an earlier date is practically feasible.
