Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) A person must not
undertake any development or cause any development to be undertaken on land
that is in, or partly in, the redevelopment area without the approval of the
Commission or in contravention of a condition attached to an approval.
Penalty: $50 000, and a daily penalty of $5 000.
(2) The requirements
of subsection (1) extend to the Authority.
(3) It is immaterial
for the purposes of this Part that a development is undertaken in the
performance of a function vested in a person by a written law.
