LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1995 - SECT 4.55

4.55 .         Same number of candidates as vacancies

                If, at the close of nominations, the number of candidates is equal to the number of offices to be filled at the election, the candidate or candidates is or are elected unopposed.
