(1) In a voting in
person election —
(a) an
elector may cast an early or absent vote as soon as the election notice is
given;
(b) an
early vote may be cast not later than 4 p.m. on the day before election day;
(c) an
absent vote may be cast not later than 4 p.m. on the 4 th day before election
day;
(d) a
postal vote may be posted or delivered at any time after the relevant voting
papers are issued but can only be accepted if it is received by an electoral
officer in accordance with regulations not later than 6 p.m. on election day;
(e) a
vote in person on election day may be cast between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
(2) In a postal
election a vote may be posted or delivered at any time after the relevant
voting papers are issued but can only be accepted if it is received by an
electoral officer in accordance with regulations not later than 6 p.m. on
election day.
