(1) The presiding
officer is in charge of a polling place and has power to take any reasonable
steps to ensure that voting is conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner.
(2) Without limiting
subsection (1) the presiding officer may remove or exclude from the polling
place any person who is disrupting or may disrupt the poll.
(3) For the purposes
of this section the presiding officer may call on a member of the Police Force
for assistance and a member of the Police Force is to render assistance if
called on to do so.
