(1) A person commits
an offence if the person gives information, in any of the circumstances
described in subsection (2), knowing the information to be false or misleading
in a material particular.
(2) The circumstances
in which subsection (1) applies are —
(a) when
the information is given in a complaint under section 5.107 or 5.114; or
(b) when
the information is given to a person for the purposes of an investigation of
whether or not a breach has been committed; or
(c) when
the information is given to a standards panel.
