(1) A partner in a
limited partnership or incorporated limited partnership or a person authorised
by the partner may at any time —
(a) have
access to, inspect and copy any of the accounts and financial records of the
partnership; and
(b)
examine the state and prospects of the partnership business; and
(c)
advise and consult with other partners regarding the matters referred to in
paragraphs (a) and (b).
(2) The application of
this section may be varied in relation to a limited partnership or
incorporated limited partnership by a partnership agreement or with the
consent of the partners in the limited partnership or incorporated limited
partnership.
