the Partnership Act 1895 .
(2) In section 3
insert in alphabetical order:
incorporated limited partnership has the meaning
given in the Limited Partnerships Act 2016 section 3;
limited partnership has the meaning given in the
Limited Partnerships Act 2016 section 3;
(3) In section 4
delete “This” and insert:
(1) Subject to
subsections (2) and (3), this
(4) At the end of
section 4 insert:
(2) This Act applies
to a limited partnership to the extent and with the modifications set out in
the Limited Partnerships Act 2016 section 6.
(3) This Act applies
to an incorporated limited partnership to the extent and with the
modifications set out in the Limited Partnerships Act 2016 sections 8 and 9.
(5) In section 7(1)
delete “Partnership” and insert:
Subject to subsection
(3), partnership
(6) After section 7(2)
insert:
(3) Partnership does
not include the relation which subsists between —
(a) the
partners in an incorporated limited partnership; or
(b) an
incorporated limited partnership and its partners.
