(1) The Director
General of Mines is to cause a register to be compiled and maintained.
(2) The register is to
contain such particulars, relating to mining tenements and applications for
mining tenements, as are prescribed.
(3) The register may
be compiled and maintained in such form as the Director General of Mines
determines.
(4) A person may, on
payment of the prescribed fee, obtain at the Department at Perth or at the
office of the mining registrar —
(a) a
copy of an entry in the register relating to any mining tenement or
application for a mining tenement; and
(b)
subject to such requirements, if any, as are prescribed, a copy of a dealing
or other instrument recorded in the register.
