MINING ACT 1978 - SECT 70A

70A .         Term used: primary tenement

                In this Division —

        primary tenement means —

            (a)         a prospecting licence that —

                  (i)         is in force immediately before the commencement of section 25 of the Mining Amendment Act 2004 ; or

                  (ii)         is granted after that commencement in respect of an application made before that commencement;

                or

            (b)         an exploration licence that —

                  (i)         is in force immediately before the commencement of section 25 of the Mining Amendment Act 2004 ; or

                  (ii)         is granted after that commencement in respect of an application made before that commencement;

                or

            (c)         a mining lease.
