(1) The Chief
Magistrate may issue written directions (to be called administrative
directions) about administrative matters and procedures for the effective and
efficient operation of the Court.
(2) The directions
must not limit the judicial independence of magistrates.
(3) A magistrate, and
any registrar exercising any of the Court’s jurisdiction or powers, must
comply with the directions.
(4) A contravention of
subsection (3) is not an offence.
