affect any right that a carer or close family member of a patient has (whether
under this Act or otherwise) to be provided with information or involved in a
matter in another capacity.
Note for this section:
A carer of a patient
who is a child could for example also be the child’s parent or guardian
or a close family member of a patient could also be the person responsible for
the patient under the GAA Act section 110ZD.
