The person appointed
under section 563 to conduct an inquiry may, for the purpose of the inquiry
—
(a)
enter —
(i)
a mental health service at any time without notice; or
(ii)
any other premises at any reasonable time and at any
other time with the owner’s consent;
and
(b) on
entering any premises under paragraph (a), do any of these things —
(i)
inspect the premises and anything on the premises;
(ii)
require a person on the premises to answer questions, or
provide information, that the person appointed under section 563 considers
relevant to the inquiry;
(iii)
require a person on the premises to produce any documents
that the person appointed under section 563 considers relevant to the inquiry;
(iv)
inspect, or take a copy of the whole or any part of any
document produced under subparagraph (iii);
(v)
require a person on the premises to give reasonable
assistance to the person appointed under section 563 in the exercise of a
power under this section.
