(1) Any information
obtained by the Chief Psychiatrist in the course of a visit to the premises of
a psychiatric health service under the 1996 Act section 13(2) (whether or not
the visit was completed before commencement day) is taken to be information
obtained by the Chief Psychiatrist in the course of a visit to a mental health
service under section 521(1).
(2) A visit to the
premises of a psychiatric health service by the Chief Psychiatrist under the
1996 Act section 13(2) that was started but not completed before commencement
day can be completed by the Chief Psychiatrist under section 521(1) as a visit
to a mental health service.
