(1) The Minister must
give the applicant written notice of the Minister’s decision under
section 206.
(2) If the Minister
provisionally grants a mining licence —
(a) the
Minister must give the licence to the provisional holder; and
(b) the
notice under subsection (1) must contain the following information —
(i)
notification of any determination under section 399 that
the provisional holder must lodge a security;
(ii)
notification that the provisional grant will lapse unless
the provisional holder, before the end of the primary payment period —
(I) gives the Minister a written acceptance
of the grant; and
(II) lodges any
security required by the Minister under section 399; and
(III) pays the fee
that must be paid for the licence under section 425.
