(1) An admission made
by any partner concerning the partnership affairs and in the ordinary course
of its business is evidence against the firm, and a representation made by any
partner to any person concerning the partnership affairs and in the ordinary
course of its business shall have the same effect as against the firm, and so
far as concerns the civil rights and liabilities of the partners as if it had
been made by all the partners.
(2) This section shall
not apply to a representation made by one partner as to the extent of his own
authority to bind the firm.
