Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts A person who is or has
been engaged in the performance of functions under this Act must not, directly
or indirectly, record, disclose or make use of any information obtained in the
performance of those functions except —
(a) for
the purpose of, or in connection with, performing functions under this Act or
another written law; or
(b) as
required or allowed by this Act or another written law; or
(c) with
the written consent of the Minister or the person to whom the information
relates; or
(d) for
the purpose of any proceedings before a court or the State Administrative
Tribunal arising out of the operation of this Act; or
(e) in
prescribed circumstances.
Penalty: a fine of $20 000.
