(1) A limitation, that
itself complies with the rule against perpetuities, is not invalidated solely
by reason of its being preceded by one or more invalid limitations, whether or
not it expressly or by implication, takes effect after, or subject to, or is
dependent upon, those invalid limitations or any of them.
(2) Where a limitation
is invalid as infringing the rule against perpetuities, any subsequent valid
limitation is thereby accelerated.
