section 83B(1), the provisions of this Part apply to leases and sub-leases of
land under the Transfer of Land Act 1893 , notwithstanding anything contained
in that Act, and for the purposes of this Part lease includes so far as
circumstances will admit any instrument of letting whether under seal or not.
