(1) A person upon whom
the rights of a registered holder of a particular title have devolved by
operation of law may apply in writing to the Minister to have his name entered
in the register as the holder of the title.
(2) The Minister
shall, if he is satisfied that the rights of the holder have devolved upon the
applicant by operation of law and on payment of the prescribed fee enter the
name of the applicant in the register as the holder of the title and, upon
that entry being so made, the applicant becomes the registered holder of the
title.
(3) Where a company
that is the registered holder of a particular title has changed its name, it
may apply in writing to the Minister to have its new name substituted for its
previous name in the register in relation to that title and, if —
(a) the
Minister is satisfied that the company has so changed its name; and
(b) the
company has paid the prescribed fee,
the Minister shall
make the necessary alterations in the register.
