(1) The Commissioner
must in each year prepare a report on the following —
(a) the
state of administration and management of the Public Sector;
(b) the
compliance or non-compliance by public sector bodies and employees, either
generally or in particular, with the principles set out in sections 8(1)(a),
(b) and (c) and 9 and with public sector standards, codes of ethics and codes
of conduct;
(c) any
other matters arising out of the performance of the Commissioner’s
functions that are, in the opinion of the Commissioner, of such significance
as to require reporting in that manner.
(2) A report required
under subsection (1) may be prepared and dealt with in conjunction with any
report required under the Financial Management Act 2006 by the Commissioner
in his or her capacity as the accountable authority of the department
principally assisting in the administration of this Act.
