Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) The purpose of
this section is to enable a security officer to remove from the possession of
a person taken into custody under section 58 or 59 anything that could cause
harm to that person or any other person (a dangerous article ).
(2) A security officer
who takes a person into custody under section 58 or 59 may search the person
and take any dangerous article found on the person, using any force that is
reasonably necessary.
