(1) A person who, at a
public meeting to which this section applies, acts in a disorderly manner for
the purpose of preventing the transaction of the business for which the
meeting is held shall be guilty of an offence, and shall be liable to a
penalty not exceeding $10.
(2) This section
applies to any lawful public meeting held in relation to a referendum between
the date of the issue of the writ for the referendum and the date of the
return of the writ.
