RAILWAY (METRONET) ACT 2018 - SECT 6

6 .         Planning approval not required for certain METRONET works

                Despite anything in the Metropolitan Region Scheme or the Swan Valley Planning Scheme, the following development may be commenced or carried out without the approval of the Planning Commission —

            (a)         METRONET works that involve the clearing of native vegetation on railway land in a Bush Forever area;

            (b)         METRONET works on non-railway land.
