(1) The principal
objective of a park liaison committee is to assist the park operator to
maintain and improve the lifestyle and wellbeing of persons who use the
residential park as their sole or principal place of residence.
(2) The park liaison
committee’s functions are —
(a) to
advise and consult with the park operator about the following —
(i)
the preparation of park rules and amendments of the
rules;
(ii)
the development of guidelines for the standards of
behaviour applicable to the residents of the residential park;
(iii)
the development of policies for the improvement and
maintenance of the natural environment and the amenities of the residential
park;
(iv)
any other prescribed matter;
and
(b) to
assist the park operator —
(i)
to ensure that the park rules are observed by park
residents; and
(ii)
to resolve disputes between park residents; and
(iii)
to resolve disputes between park residents and the park
operator;
and
(c) to
carry out any other prescribed function.
(3) In this section
—
park resident means —
(a) a
long-stay tenant; or
(b) a
person who occupies agreed premises in accordance with the long-stay agreement
and with the permission of the long-stay tenant.
