(1) If a
disqualification order is made in respect of an offender, the term of the
disqualification does not elapse —
(a)
while the offender is in custody serving any sentence of imprisonment;
(b)
while the offender is appealing against the conviction or sentence that gave
rise to the disqualification order.
(2) A disqualification
order ceases to be in force when its term ends, or when a court cancels it,
whichever happens first.
