(1) A person shall not
—
(a) hold
more than one real estate settlement agent’s licence or more than one
triennial certificate relating thereto and shall not carry on more than one
business as a real estate settlement agent under that certificate; or
(b) hold
more than one business settlement agent’s licence or more than one
triennial certificate relating thereto and shall not carry on more than one
business as a business settlement agent under that certificate.
(2) A licence or a
triennial certificate is not transferable.
(3) A licensee shall
not in any way permit, or hold himself out as being willing to permit, another
person to use the licence or a triennial certificate of the licensee.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $100 000.
