Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) The Governor may
make a parole order in respect of a prisoner sentenced to be imprisoned
indefinitely but only if a report about the prisoner has been given by the
Board under section 12 or 12A.
(2) The release date
in the parole order is that set by the Governor.
(3) The parole period
in the parole order is to be set by the Governor and must be at least 6 months
and not more than 5 years.
