Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) A prisoner must
give the written acknowledgment and undertaking required by section 54 on or
before the release date specified in the RRO and if he or she does not, the
RRO is to be taken as having been cancelled.
(2) If an RRO is
cancelled by the operation of subsection (1) and the prisoner subsequently
gives the Board written notice that he or she is prepared to give the required
written acknowledgment and undertaking, the Board, if it thinks fit, may then
make an RRO.
